The best I can think about is Renault Kiger (RXT). Spacious, Comfort, Non Turbo engine 1.0L (3 Cylinder), Manual Transmission, 4 star rating, 14-15 KM\L in city traffic and more than 19 KM\L on highway (Mileage depends upon driving style), Till now 5 start rating for service Centre. Can cruise to 100 KM with 2500-3000 RPM but you can get best average when you drive in between 1500-2000 RPM. My experience, this is the most practical car (Compact SUV). I drove it in plain as well as in Hilly areas. Cons:- Resale price is not good. You can feel the cost cutting when you check the inbuild plastic. Engine can sometimes feel under power. Normal Halogen Headlamps, No fog lamps,

Under 8 lac on road, if you are getting a spacious car with almost every accessory and which has a good network coverage in your area. Then it's not a deal breaker. You can get better option than kiger but you have to spend more. So decision is your. For me 8 lac for a depreciating thing is more than enough to spend. For you may be budget is not a constraint.

Best i can think right now is WagonR/SPresso/Alto CNG base variant and pay around 20k extra aftermarket to add sounds and screens or basic sterio with little bit of here and there accessories. it will be fantastic deal for peoples who can't afford increased fuel prices. trust me i own kia carens, you need to put minimum 1000-1200 rs petrol and it will be vanished in just 1-2 days of city traffic. you will regret your decision if you feel pain with fuel charges as like this

I think tiago xt(o) petrol also is VFM model. My only complain from this car is that the gearbox isn't as smooth as Hyundai or Suzuki gearboxes. Also on 5th gear it makes a weird noise when A/C is turned on.

You’re right. I’m using Tata Zest (XE Diesel) since 2017. Mileage is really good, ride quality as well. Fiat sourced 4 cylinder quadrajet engine is a charm on the highways. The only issue is gearbox which feels knocky and not smooth at all, also inconsistent. I think Hyundai gearboxes are the best.

Sorry for giving trouble. I approach for your expert second opinion for my observation in my car Caren 1). Engine oil filled by service centre more than max. Level On drawing their attention, they say don't bother. Read somewhere that excess engine oil can damage system. Is it true ? And does it applicable to engine of Caren also. 2). Normally observed cabin as well engine of a petrol car is sound. But in my Caren it is noisy. Like to know Is it normal in Caren bcoz Service people does not find unusual.

Triber's engine power is way less for a 7seater. If you're going to use it primarily as a 5seater with third row folded the go for it and save some money. But if you've big family then stretch your budget and get Ertiga.
