What very beautiful and incredibly focused playing! There's a reason you don't hear more guitarists playing fiddle tunes this way--it's so exposed and perfectly evident when something goes awry. The hardest thing to do on a guitar is to make it sing and I can't think of anyone who can make it sing as Russ does. What a treat, Russ!

No kidding. The accuracy in all aspects in mind blowing. It is a masterclass in playing without tension. Even when he drops D - the pulse is unchanged.
