The spd requierement only happen at the beguining, you can still have spd buff mid combat and beneficiate of the crit rate. The spd buff of jade is kinda worthless though, since it does’nt allow tribbie to reach a speed break point. Herta is a better enabler for Jade.

Even if he's not the best option, Lingsha is better, is not a bad option either. Both Tribbie and Jade gives him stakcs for the shield, his ultimate activates Tribbie's follow up, his fua can give stacks for Herta and also has the crit dmg debuff on the enemies, so I think he still works pretty decently with her
