Not everything has been smooth traveling Korea as foreigners (with a big dog) but overall the experience has been amazing! The people are friendly, the streets are clean, and the FOOD IS AMAZING!

I'll visit Myeongdong Market when I am not hungry 🙂 but walk through to get the experience. When I saw the chicken and rice cake cups lined up, I wondered how long they had been sitting out. When you guys go to Korea, do you get treated like foreigners even though you are Korean by blood? I’m Vietnamese American , when I was in Vietnam and I was definitely treated like a foreigner, not in a bad way but definitely different.

Partially. Grew up in LA so I grew up culturally Korean and I’m fluent in the language. Korea has a lot more “gyopos” and people that go to international schools compared to Vietnam so I think you would stand out more in Vietnam than me in Korea.
