Hi Everyone! I can't believe that 10 freaking years have passed since this video. I stumbled back on this video by mistake as I no longer use this account at all, and I am shocked and humbled that this video has surpassed 5,000 views and that the reception in the comments is so positive! A couple of my reactions to this video now that I've grown up a lot and have learned many things in the process: 1. the intro is a complete ripoff of Victor Borges's piano comedy. I feel bad for not being terribly original in the skit because people obviously thought it was hilarious but it wasn't really something that I came up with. 2. I still play piano now, but I don't nearly practice as much as I did back then. There's obviously a lot I would change about the performance - try to slow the tempo down and prevent rushing, add far more dynamic variation, and account for the (low) quality of the piano so that the sound of the piece is not overwhelming. There are certainly much better performances of this piece by people who were much younger than me at this time. But I was not a serious pianist - just a regular high schooler who took piano lessons, and I'm proud after listening through it again about how I managed to give a pretty put together performance while juggling other high schooler responsibilities/extra curriculars. I wish I could practice that much and play that well today, but the truth is, I just graduated from Law School and will be taking on an extremely busy job at a law firm in NYC so practicing is going to be mostly out of the picture. :( 3. Use a tripod!! I hope it was fun for you guys to hear a little update about my life! I probably won't be back to this channel but I wanted you to know that I'm still playing and making music. Try coming up with an original comedy routine instead of copying the master Victor Borge, also play songs that are right for your abilities on the piano.

first off you're 9 years late. second, it looks like a school talent show, it's not that big of a deal since it was a very small part of the performance. third, have you ever been nervous when playing a piano song? dynamics are hard when you're shaking or nervous.
