Which is better, a high pressure misting system or a industrial humidifier?

Why larger nozzles? I guess because the smaller ones tend to clog more frequently. Am I correct?

If you don't get your keystock with your pump order you can buy it from McMaster Carr. The metal is expensive but some of the more specialized parts are more expensive

Hey Eric, the link to the cat pump in your kit is not working anymore... Can you give us an updated link? How much is this kind of pump supposed to cost, 500 dolars? I have no idea, but thats the quote i got after a quick googling. Thanks buddy.

Also, have you ever considered using a pressure washer as the "pump" for the system? I am asking that because i had a discussion with some other cultivator in a very famous mushroom cultivation forum in which you are also a participant, and he came up with a system using a pressure washer at the core, and it seems to work pretty well, and as you know those pumps are much cheaper than cat pumps (i dont really know why, actually, there must be some significat design difference in them). Anyway, do you think this setup would work if i got a pressure washer in place of the cat pump? Do you see any reason why it wouldnt, aside from having to source the adequate water conectors?

@@Quiablo You will need a pressure regulator since pressure washer reach frequently 150 bar >2000 psi and it will consume more electricity.

@@Quiablo Hey i also had this idea, tested it out a bit with an old pressure washer but never set the whole system up but lately i have been meaning to do it because i don't like the current system i am using. My main concern is how long will the pressure washer motor last? has this guy had it working for a long time? can you link me the forum or whatever i'm really interested!

Is the UV "sterilization" not overkill?

Not required but helps maintain a clean environment and ro filters do tend to build up mold/bacteria if not flowing 24/7
