Your words are so true. I have lived in both Ethiopia and US and I can say that life in Ethiopia is more meaningful. Although the US offers a lot of conveniences and material goods, I’ve never found the happiness I found in Ethiopia. It’s the warmth and kindness of the people that make Ethiopia so special.

Happiness comes within ! Thanks for the deep message at the end. He is not just a blogger, it feels a family remember, he puts his heart into what he's doing. The wold needs more of this kind of person. Many of bloggers are busy to get clickbait and to show shocking and unusual things in those kinds of countries. Digging for stereotypes and bad news, because that's what grow their channel unfortunately. An authentic blogger like this must be appreciated. I can't wait to see different countries blog. Keep up the good deed.

I have not seen any travel bloggers like you, you have a real deep appreciation for our country. and you truly understand what makes it so beautiful, you didnt focus on all the bad things in Ethiopia which there is plenty of, but you focused on the love of the people and their kindness. I really enjoyed this journey you had in Ethiopia and I will be watching future videos in different countries, I am pretty sure you will do your magnificent work on portraying their country on how it should be portrayed. Well GOD be with you, and thank you from the bottom of my heart for this magnificent journey.

Myer, the old house you saw (Ref 20:50 of your video ) is called ሴጣን ቤት.=Setan bet (the house of satan )😀.. It was the very first Cinema in Ethiopia back in the days. So when people watched movies for the very first time sitting in the dark, they thought it was some sort of satanic activity and named it the house of satan 😂. So you have basically seen not only the first Cafe, but also the first post office and the first cinema. The first hotel called Taytu Hotel was also around the corner 😊Thanks for sharing your Ethiopian experience 💚💛❤️

Love this. You're so right about how traveling changes us at our core and really opens up our eyes. It’s kinda funny bc all your life you hear people talk about it so much, but it didn't really click for me either until I traveled outside the U.S. for the first time on my own as well. It really is such a beautiful and indescribable feeling of pure love, freedom, and personal growth that is so life-changing. And to think that from that one small decision, for the rest of your life, you now get the pleasure of carrying the beauty of each place you visited with you everywhere you go, while somehow also feeling like you left a big piece of your heart there as well. So bittersweet and truly nothing like it. Apologies for the long comments lol but cheers to the end of a beautiful series and inshallah the beginning of many more incredible experiences abroad!

Rebuilt some years ago 5 minutes walk opposite direction of Tomoca is Enrico cake and it's the old and best known cake in Addis. If you have difficulty finding Ethiopian celebrities then go Enrico-you will find them getting inn or out of the Enrico lol

Watching this video made me realize how much of Italy is still present in Ethiopia. People drinking espresso standing up at the counter, talking to each other with heavy hand gestures. If you told me that coffee place is in southern Italy I would 100% believe it.
