I only use Created wrestlers, created arenas , created and belts. I do love the gameplay but that MyFaction crap is absurd and complete stupidity as opposed to spending that much on Cards and that other garbage

That’s exactly why I put down Fallout 4 for a long time, because you’ll end up optimizing the game for days/weeks just to run into another game breaking bug or glitch because of content creation. 2K22 was also BAD about this. I couldn’t customize a single weight class day 1. Creation suite bugged out after 2 months, so I couldn’t make any new attires. Which also bugged out MyRise, so I couldn’t even CAW to progress the story. Wrestlers were disappearing from my Universe and rivalries would cease to exist. It’s like these bugs whittle down the game after each workaround until there’s no point in continuing the madness or accepting what’s still available. No way these games should be as expensive as they are to be having so many issues. Same thing with PS5 controllers, $75 and I still have customers return them weekly or monthly because of stick drift.

I agree that My Faction is not good whatsoever. This is the first year I played and I only got into because of Persona Cards. The content is limited, updates are infrequent and grinding is boring and tedious. I haven’t paid anything extra towards MyFaction but i spent way too much time in the mode frequently disconnects. The trons and incorrect music is wack and this will be the final wwe game i purchase at launch. Ill wait months to see what the issues are and then buy it onsale if i can tolerate the issues.

I bought the 40 Years of Wrestlemania edition for pre order when 2K24 got announced after having fun with 2K23 and returning to WWE games since 2k17. I had spent roughly two weeks setting up a shared universe mode with two of my friends and we barely played it after the CAWs we downloaded started having their logos replaced and randomized. (Faces on body parts, textures for AJ Styles’s tights on his face & hair, whole other bullshit etc.) It only took about a week or two for this stuff to start happening and eventually we all just gave up and moved on to a different game. Fast Forward from March to July I decided to return to the game after feeling motivated from the CM Punk DLC pack finally being released and i wanted to check the additional moves that were added. I reinstalled the game and it told me that I had to make a new save data otherwise I couldn’t play. Everything I had worked up for that entire point, (MYCareer, Showcase Mode, The shit I earned from actually playing MYFaction, and OUR ENTIRE UNIVERSE MODE) was all gone. Waste of $110 dollars bro. Never buying another WWE game again if its made by 2K 😂🖕

I agree, the mode forces you to make microtransactions, unfortunately it's the mode I liked the most in this WWE 2K24, the only mode that kept me hooked on this game, don't spend a penny, because the cards are temporary, you will always get a better card for free.

I run a custom universe mode also, and I have to follow a glitch proof video every time to get it to run. Then, when a new patch releases, I have to go through and make sure none of my content is broken, but it never fails that something in the game breaks and ruins my experience.

honestly, I don't even care if there are any new features next year. I just want them to clean up all the bugs and flesh out some of the features already in the game that are half-assed. Series will get back to 2K20 level of bugs at this pace.

I haven’t bought any but I get them free later. I have literally been complaining about wrestling game since the 90s and at this point I will forever refuse to buy them. I stopped watching wrestling easily, probably 20 years ago when wcw ended but I do enjoy the game sometimes but this pay to play crap no thank you I wish their fanbase was more intelligent, but apparently they’re not. They’re willing to just throw away their money for nothing just like NBA 2K at some point it’s going to hit their pockets and when it does, I’ll be glad they don’t deserve anything. First off, I personally love your content and I feel like you and @NearFallGaming make the most enjoyable and engaging WWE2K24 Content. With that being said, I feel like 2K is well on their way to releasing another WWE2K20. This is the 4th installment with the same issues as it relates to Universe Mode and the Creation Suite. The most important mode in the game is broken beyond repair, and instead of investing the bulk of development time into rebuilding the entire mode from scratch, they allocate resources to modes like MyFaction when the majority of the community have voiced their dislike for the mode. The Showcases are rushed, uninspired, and boring. The MyRise mode is a boring, repetitive chore to play. The Online servers are atrocious and even bugs the game out. 2K clearly doesn’t care about the game. If they did, MyFaction would be pulled from the game and they’d fix Universe Mode; considering it’s the best mode in the game in terms of giving the game replayability. The main mode people play is being neglected year after year, while the least played mode is getting all of their attention.

I have a universe 6 shows and 39 PLE's annually . I have every wrestler on roster for every show w an additional 35 CAWs . It is so much fun doing dream matches . But i do agree this game has so much glitchy buggy baggage it makes it a chore to enjoy it . Every update , new issues

anything in this game involving a download is such a process man, even with really fast wifi takes forever, i made a universe mode and made a new brand, ECW with CAWs and actual ECW people and it took me 2 days to get everyone and everything downloaded and setup, we’re talking the show, PLEs, download wrestlers and setting up the divisions, getting custom signs and arenas and just trying to make sure things work. i really hope 2k25 is a better game

I agree. It's so boring. Here enjoy a tag match. Here another tag match but with ladders. Here another tag match but TLC and that's about it. What makes it worse is that you need like 100+ of these matches to buy a pack that has shitty odds. Tbh I prefer the no mercy way. Just survival or story mode to unlock characters. The issue with My Faction is that it forces you to binge. You don't have much time to unlock certain characters or attires. You have to keep playing the same matches over and over. I can't believe I'm saying this but I'm bored playing tag matches so often. Tag matches aren't even as important in WWE for the main event. They are rarely main event matches. But most of all....the biggest issue is how restrictive it is to get points. You have to keep repeating the same moves to get the mfp. It's so boring. There is no way in hell that people are considering buying 2K25. If they do I am seriously worried for the future of gaming. You are just paying $70 for one small update or match type. And an additional +$400 to unlock the hidden characters. Meaning you are on your way to spending $1000 on an annual game. 2k24 was fun for me for a bit because it was new cause the last game I owned was 2k17. I didn't buy 2k22 and 23 so I didn't experience the switch in controls. But after binging MyFaction I'm bored. Nothing is fun anymore because of overplaying the game.

So what's the status makes the best community creations typically modded somehow, and I have downloaded many like cm punks old attires but I want the real thing from community creations because they literally have punks old Killswitch engaged theme song and I want it for the main menu plus I want less clutter on my selections so having old punk with alt attires would be easier then several different eras of punk with proper themes, the my faction crap is worse even with the possible $400 price because it's no guarantee you well even get all the items from the pack

MyFaction is the reason I'm not buying 2K25. I see some people saying they like this mode. How anyone can enjoy a pay to play mode that's as interesting as watching paint dry is beyond me. It's ridiculous. I paid for the Mania Edition and have tons of gaps in my roster. It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't show the blank spaces with big question marks. I refuse to end up paying over 200 for a damn game. I honestly feel people that pump 400+ into this mode are stupid. The legends trons are lazy. People will argue they didn't have modern trons but they did one for Honky Tonk so they could easily do it for other legends. I had a character corrupted because I used Piper's damn knee pads. There are still glitches in create mode from 2022. They don't give a damn about a players experience as long as we throw money at them.

I wish they had a campaign with real life cutscenes like need for speed 2015. Just picture interacting with the talent and making decisions with different outcomes. And when you enter training mode, there’s a small cutscene of Cody Rhodes or Roman reigns giving you encouragement for the next match. It varies whether you win or lose the previous match. Of course, gameplay will be 2k, but the cutscenes will really give it the edge it needs.
