At first i thought that the guy waking him up, was evil, but dang, he was one of the good guys! What a great spin to this! I liked this! A sequel is needed! but then comes the age old question, can anyone make a sequel that's good as the first one? Well, i say yes.. Matrix for one, and Lord of the Rings(even though it was technically a book series,but still!) loved this! Really great work!!

Dude the matrix? What lol? The first matrix was basically perfect. The sequels were not even close to the same level, with the third almost being in the "awful" category. Basically the only movies whose sequels were as good or better than the original are Terminator 2, Aliens, LotR (as you mentioned), and the Godfather Part 2. I might be forgetting one or two, but honestly that's about it. The matrix sequels aren't even close lol. Now of course this is all obviously pretty strongly opinion based, but the ones I mentioned are pretty widely agreed to be some of the only ones in that category.

Actually, at the beginning, it was a bit hard to follow the plot because I didn't expect it would be so good! That blonde guy looks and acts like some badass anime character. Acting was perfect. Then, the visual effects surprised me again. Music fits the scenes so well. Everyone did a great job on their roles. And the story was good and twisted at the end. That was an amazing film! 😎

The name of this, "Scratch" is an old name for the Devil sand it suits the character and actor pretty well. That grave marker saying "Hoffa", was funny! >< Then he whistles in the dark which we are never, ever supposed to do, both comedy and foreshadowing. Music in the beginning sounds a little Batman-y but I liked it in those films so... This would made an interesting series or at least a feature length film.

Nice take on an old story. There are worse deals to shake on - although the length of your employment contract may vary. Scratch's makeup kinda threw me at first.. looked too much like a Sharpie done in the mirror, so I thought he was a wannabe - but he turns out to be the Real Deal. Nicely done.

Thank you for the kind words. Our budget was roughly $6,000 USD, we shot over the course of a four days in southern Utah on the Blackmagic Pocket 6k Pro, A and B cameras using the DZO Pictor 20-55mm and 50-125mm lenses.

The black makeup streaming down his face came off as more "wwf promo" than old scratch. Just like in Constantine with Peter Stormahr (sp?) Less is more. Love the black fingers though, that's legit.
