Lovely lathe you have there. Please will you do a short video showing us amateurs the correct way to set up and use the steady? Also, should one lubricate where the steady supports the shaft? Many thanks.

Hi Greg, nice video. I notice your ML7-R has a cover on the right hand side of the gearbox (as seen by the operator) - I haven't seen that before. Can you tell us what it is for? Many thanks, John

Sorry for the late reply, would you be referring to the cover to protect the feed screw thread?
