Yeah, but that was the time. At one time a 25 y.o unmarried woman was considered an old maid. At 18 many girls were married with children. I have an aunt/uncle he married her when she was 16 and he was I think 25, but he asked her guardians for her hand in marriage first. Her parents died when she was young so she had been raised by relatives. With her being married since he had his own apartment and job as a city bus driver that was one less mouth her family had to feed. They were married for about 60 years until my aunt passed away, then my uncle passed away about 3 years later. They raised 3 kids, and would often let me spend multiple nights/days with them because they had a son my age.

That said, man was very stupid to be doing this in the home her parent lives in. This was never going to go well, but they also had no right to attack him in such a way unless they thought the daughter or themselves were in physical danger. I'd doubt this was the case given that they caught them asleep in bed together, I believe is what was said. i remember when i was dating this man back when i was 19 that was 3 years older than me ( like 25) and he would manipulate me to sleep overnight with him and then get made at me when I told him i had to go home to my grandma because she wants me home by a certain time. this wasn’t no ordinary mad, He basically got mad because he didn’t get what he wanted out of me. And my grandma would worn me about how she didn’t trust him even after she met him she was still smart and never let him full her with his kindness. she didn’t approve of me going to sleep over with him mainly because she was trying to protect me and she didn’t know him well. After breaking up with him from all the abuse he’s given me to this day I am so thankful for my grandmother protecting me and warning me about him because if it wasn’t for her i would have been stuck with his abuse for along time.

I was with an 18 year old when i was 27 or 28. I never asked her to come over or sleep over, she had a key to my house and knew my work schedule, she'd come and go as she pleased. Sometimes she'd even be the one to wake me up in the morning to crawl in the bed to cuddle or for an afternoon nap etc. His behavior had nothing to do with his age, I guarantee you he's like that in all of his relationships

I think the main issue is that yes, she is 18 *legally grown but she still LIVES WITH HER MOTHER. When I was 18 I still lived at home and *thought I was grown. I made very foolish decisions.
