They are trying to bridge Christianity with the foundational substance of their organizations. But the lady said that the founders rooted these organizations in liberal Arts, which are of liberal ideologies. Liberal ideologies discourage Christianity from being at its very core. The fundamental liberal ideals of freedom of speech freedom of press freedom of religion separate the church and state. Liberalism is a very reason why prayer was removed out of the public school system. Liberalism is fighting to have in God we trust removed from our American currency. Liberalism are the instigators of the gay pride acceptances and parades. Now I understand why the minister does not understand. He stated, “It’s about where your heart is”. Well actually it isn’t. The word says our hearts are deceitful (Jeremiah 17:9). The whole book of Jeremiah talks about idolatry & prophets giving false words from God, as this minister is doing. Then the pastor talked about service. When I denounced God clearly reminded me that I NEVER did one act of service in his name. He told me when I put on my AKA shirt, people saw AKA not Jesus. Proverbs tells us not to brag about what we do but you find this minister & the others are doing just that. Furthermore, the minister says, “There might have been some hurt there” for people who denounced/ renounced. That was slick shade and untrue for many… Just because you have a title doesn’t mean you are a real Christian. A true follower of Yeshua will yield to God’s word regarding covenants, bowing, hazing and so much more. I see why Matthew 15:8 says people honor me with their lips but their hearts are far from me. If you loved Jesus like you say you do, you would take your emotions out of it and compare the rituals & what you said to the word. Let me ask another question: if the official fraternity hymn says “we will serve the organization forever”, how as college educated people, can we misinterpret that to mean anything, except for you serve the organization in eternal perpetuity? I believe the host himself is part of a fraternity that’s why he speaks the way he speaks and of course they’re not gonna speak against the God that they worship. They’re all still a part of it. Personally I can appreciate what I do see. I enjoyed campus life. Years later I enjoy watching different campuses greek life, on KZbin. Although I'm not a member but some of my family and friends are. My thing is why just the D9? Why not every frat and soro, that takes an oath and has rituals you disagree with? Look on social media...."the black church needs to go, the HBCUs need to go, the D9 needs to go..." Anyone else see a pattern here?
