Toya,the gold star earrings looks just like some that were used years ago on one of the beach Barbies. They probably reused the old molds for them. To remove the earrings take the dolls head off like when you do a head swap. Use a tool such as small pliers to push the earrings out from the inside of the dolls head. Cut off the part of the earrings that prevents it from being removed.

The fashions remind me so much of how Barbie clothes used to be when I was growing up in the 90's. As well as I had a lot of clothes handed down to me from my mom and aunt that felt like higher quality. I am always willing to pay a little more for a doll and accessories if they have better material.

I'm loving the outfits. They are more expensive than usual but the quality is so much better. These are more like the quality of the clothes when Barbie was first introduced. I was disappointed in the brunette Ken's face. It looks so flat compared the blonde Ryan Gosling. Simu Lui has a great smile so I wish that had been sculpted instead.

Love this, the dolls are cute, the price I have to say its way to high for just posable bodies they should on MTM period, I know what they doing they give us less articulation so we buy them MTM bodies well played Mattel! There could be at least two of them not smilling at least the more expensive Ken doll, you did an amazing job on the dark hair Ken, loved Sean on the buff body also and no beard, the car for the price should be RC operated . Idea for Barbie craft, the pink sand beach would be awesome specially with Summer starting.

@@LeBlondReroots Not every collector is the same ...... for example , I'm not a fan of silkstone dolls or long elegant dresses. I like more casual and sporty outfits , also most of my Barbies wear shorts , pants or short skirts in which they can move easy. One other thing ..... I prefer more velcro , the tiny buttons are sometimes harder to open and close.

But I was simply referring to these collector movie dolls, for the price you are getting a collectors doll with Barbie Extra articulation and the fashion pack items could've been a tiny bit better quality some the material looks fragile.

Exactly. For these prices the dolls should have MtM bodies standard, better fabric, and more accessories. A Barbie Extra comes with WAY more for half the price. They aren’t collector quality at all. I won’t be buying any of these $50+ items unless they go on DEEP sale or clearance.

I ALMOST forgot how much pink there was in the Barbie merchandises before they used the colors in the later years! Almost EVERYTHING was pink: Clothes, accessories, houses, furniture, doll vehicles... And now since the Barbie Movie's release, they pretty much brought back the pink for the occasion! I think only a certain amount of fans can stand pink for so long without getting a headache! ^^; Also, REALLY nice that the Ken dolls has some more clothes options, including underwear!
