Happy Birthday Iain Matthews born on June 16, 1946. He is an English musician and singer-songwriter. He was an original member of the British folk rock band Fairport Convention from 1967 to 1969 before leaving to form his own band, Matthews Southern Comfort, which had a UK number one in 1970 with a cover version of Joni Mitchell's song "Woodstock". Just found this, thanks Roger. I was too young for Woodstock but old enough to appreciate the music. I remember Mathews Southern Comfort that played on the radio for what seems years in my growing years from the UK to a fifty pound POM in New Zealand. Always one of my singalong songs when I was finding myself in the world. Allan

I heard this song on the radio one night while driving from Budapest to Zagreb, incredibly liked it and recorded! A few years after that, I listened the same cover for the second time in your video. Great feelings, great job, thank you!

Roger Dale I don't think that people on YT/G+ don't like these great oldies Roger.. I think it's because a lot of the people on these channels today are young and just never heard the songs before.. I've had comments before from the 60s post and they say that they never heard it before.. I guess people like us are turning into a dying breed.. I wish they knew that it was the great music from the 60s that kept Rock & Roll alive.. Keep them coming my friend, there are still some of us left.:) *Happy New Year Roger!!*
