Sorry about my numerous comments! Pantry, yes! We always prayed in the driveway or on way to school, had Christian music on (it's how I learned to love Toby Mac haha!), or read a daily devotional then discussed it. We're in L.A. but my girls went to a great school district that was 45 min. away, so we had a lot of commute time everyday.

My pantry (and many other areas of my house) are filled with the same white baskets! They're my favorite! I love the "before you go downstairs" charts. My kids are still very young (and by that I mean a toddler and I'm pregnant lol) but I'm going to keep those charts in mind for the future or maybe start a picture one with my older one when he's ready! By the way, I love your kitchen backsplash and your bathroom!

YESss on having children do their own things. Like your son serving his own milk. Little things it does not matter. No it is not being lazy (as my MIL thinks) it is showing our children how hard we work every single day and to be responsible for themselves as they grow older. Btw my MIL's other children are useless and lazy but it is not their fault.
