Religion or faith is about absolutes, but we live in a world where where want everything to be subjective. In my faith we have a hymn with the line, "how GOOD to say thus saith the Lord". I remember once in a class room we were talking about "inclusive" language. I had according on woman there had committed the greatest of all sins, I referred to God as HE. Liberals (what ever that means) are often as intolerant and dogmatic as the right. I am not Jewish but it seems to me that the Jewish faith is difficult to "pin down". I remember a rabbi I met in N.J. I cannot remember the subject but his response went something like this. Well rabbi so and so of Alexandria said, but rabbi so and so so (no insult meant) of Damascus said, and on and on. The answer was a multitude of answers. To me that is no answer.

Love the interview but must correct a misconception: True Christianity does not insist that you must come unto God by "them." True Christianity insists that you must come unto God by God, by the means God has ordained in Christ. Any professing Christian who insists that you must come unto God by any means other than what God has ordained is preaching falsehood. Any professing Christian who adds any work that one must accomplish to come unto God is likewise preaching falsehood. There is no work that any human can perform to atone for sin. That work has already been accomplished in Christ.

Let me explain about the Bible. UFOs are on God's side and are described all over the Bible. The ancient used semantic and called the spaceships, clouds, pillars, chariots and glory. The Bible talks about “clouds” going up and down with people going in and out (Exodus 24:18 - Moses entered the cloud). Clouds do not make those movements described in the Bible, but spaceships do. Jesus ascended in a “cloud” (Acts 1:9). God rides in a “cloud” (Isaiah 19:1, Psalm 104:3). Jesus will come back “with” the “clouds” (Mat 26:64, Rev 1:7). Jesus will come back commanding a fleet of starships. The church will be raptured “in” the “clouds” (I Thess. 4:17). Spaceships will be used to rapture the church. The ancient did not have vocabulary or knowledge to understand what they saw so they called the flying objects “clouds”, “chariots”, and “pillars”, because were the words they had to describe something flying in the sky. The Bible even tells in Psalm 68:17 how many spaceships are in the fleet “The chariots of God are tens of thousands and thousands of thousands” (about 20,000). There is a good research done by Patrick Cooke called “The Great Deception - The Bible UFO Connection” which has the original words describing spaceships. It is all over the Bible. Jesus is real. He is the savior of the world, but He is not seating in a puffy cloud. He is commanding a powerful army, which will take control of our planet and stop all wars. The Jews had contact with beings from another planetary system called The Elohim, commanded by The Most High God. The Elohim had to have a special covenant with humans to be able to save our planet from destruction. They got the agreement with the Jews, but the Jews were not faithful to the agreement so The Most High God sent Jesus to make a new covenant and have legal rights to save our planet from destruction. The Jews made a covenant with beings from another planetary system. Psalm 82:1-6 says that God presides over a great assembly. Something like a federation of planets. If you want to confirm what I am saying just look at a painting made in 1710 by someone that had access to the secret archives of the Vatican. Look at the paint " The Baptism of Christ" by Aert de Gelder. Now that we know more about science, we can understand the descriptions in the Bible. They described high technology but didn't have words to express. When they saw spaceships with strong lights they called "glory”. The "glory" of God was a spaceship with lights. In the interplanetary law the price to save us was innocent blood. That is why Jesus had to die for us. He was fulfilling a legal requirement. Put your knees on the floor and surrender your life to Jesus.

06:07 I still don't understand why people I listen to on here don't even bother understanding what it is they're criticizing. 1. "Carbon dating is inaccurate". If you think about this for two seconds it falls apart (where in the universe would we look at carbon?). We don't date the universe with carbon. Carbon dating is ONE radioactive dating technique. We use Potassium-Argon and Rubidium-Strontium (among others) to determine the age of the earth, not the universe. You wouldn't use that on the universe because the most prevalent elements in the universe are hydrogen and helium. As for the age of the universe we use the Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation and the Hubble Constant to determine this. 2. "The eye is too complex to explain with evolution" *If you actually read his book he addresses this*. The rabbi quoted only the first paragraph. Here's the rest: "Yet reason tells me, that if numerous gradations from a perfect and complex eye to one very imperfect and simple, each grade being useful to its possessor, can be shown to exist; if further, the eye does vary ever so slightly, and the variations be inherited, which is certainly the case; and if any variation or modification in the organ be ever useful to an animal under changing conditions of life, then the difficulty of believing that a perfect and complex eye could be formed by natural selection, though insuperable by our imagination, can hardly be considered real." 3. "Science is wrong, and flat earth was once scientific" The earth being spherical was known since Aristotle's time, and we move closer to truth. We don't throw things out, we improve and build on what came before.

I can't agree with the sentiment of "leave each others children alone." If we live together in the world it is right and it is healthy to dialogue about religion or any other subject. We learn from each other and some of our understanding may change and some may be reinforced. The key issue for me is if both sides agree to respect the other and allow for freedom of inquiry and freedom of conscience. I tell people that my journey as a Christian was the opposite of the famous writer C.S. Lewis. He wrote in his autobiography that he felt like he was dragged kicking and screaming into Christianity because as an educated man he had so many questions and doubts. I became a Christian as a teenager and my conversion was sincere, but my knowledge was shallow. I've spent over 50 years since wrestling with questions and doubts, studying philosophy and doing comparative religion because my faith has been challenged and I wanted to know the truth. I've always believed that truth is paramount and if my faith means anything it should be able to questioned, examined, and challenged.

he didn't meant in the sense that we can't have a dialogue, this was misunderstood. he meant in the sense of trying to convert his children. theological dialogues and studies (with respect) are a common thing amongst jews and other religions. its not uncommon for rabbis to be in the theological discussion, research and dialogues groups with members of many religions in their communities or in the Academy. Some of those groups also advocate for more religious rights and freedoms (not just for jews, but also for muslims and christians around the world). please understand much for many centuries we and our children were forced to convert. i'm a sephardic jew, my family was persecuted by the inquisition and my "branch" was one the last few who still practiced judaism, many in secrecy (my grandmother still did it in secrecy because her mother did it and so on). it was either this and being dead or expelled (or both, my family fled, but the inquisition eventually got here too). part of my family is catholic and i went into catholic school. i learned a lot, you're right. without proselitism is ok, no jew will mind. hope my comment helped you understand the context! much love ❤️✡️🤝 PS: i'm not a great english speaker hope it wasn't hard to understand 😅
