Congratulations St Peters on winning the competition. The organisers should try to eliminate the situation where the contestants precede their answers with phrases like "Madam", "please madam" and what have you. The quiz mistress is not their teacher so they should go straight to the answers. I also think the prize is not commensurate with the performance and effort put in by the students. This is a national competition and so the prize for the winners should reflect our dignity as Ghanaians. How much does the nation pay each Black Star player for winning just a game. It's 10,000 dollars. Please in 2019 you need to improve on the prizes because the contestants are making history for themselves and their schools and so the prizes should be enviable.

Sometimes they use that as strategy to think through or finalise their answer ... one contestant would ring and delay with please madam madam please while the other works the final answer

It's sometimes caused by nervousness. As for the prizes the sponsors may have read your comment lol. Prizes from 2020 downwards are now very big. Including travel packages, scholarships, and several cash prizes from different companies.
