Sod cutting is a traditional ceremony that marks the first day of construction of a project. Respectfully, project sod cutting is not supposed to be done after hearing there is fund or even after securing funding. It is supposed to mark the first day of construction work-concrete work. It is traditionally the first day of ground work. The line of questioning shows that the questioners do not understand sod cutting. May this new government learn to cut sod as the first day of construction work and not as a mere token of the "thought of a project". The many unsuccessful projects after sod cutting means our presidents and politicians do not even understand sod cutting. As we learn from the vetting process, may they also learn from our comments.
