The problem is the commission should have been the ones to send their report to public places, who did they expect to spread their report.

multimedia group should make the initiative by writing the whole account into a complete book. I was just 3 yrs when these happened and would gladly buy a copy of the book. I remember my.dad used to call me Sargent atangana. would like to know more about all these officers

The revolutionary was necessary but those who seem have not learn the lesson are the corrent politicians who are behaving as if the political leadership of Ghana is an inherited thing

And as we said in French. Les mêmes problèmes produisent les mêmes conséquences. Another violent revolution in Ghana is just a matter of when. How many revolutions happened in France before the structure of this current fifth republic were solidly put in places. It took more than 1400 heads to be severed. C’est ça aussi le prix à payé pour ceux qui n’apprennent rien de l’histoire. Btw, l was in Accra in summer 1978. I saw then how people have had it.

Make several documentaries to give the different perspectives. The American Civil War, English Civil War, French Revolution, etc, all have different versions.

All coups didn't help us . Nobody should justify any . Horrific things happened. People get missing, people died , people were imprisoned upon false charges and women were raped . Was these all fair ? I was even a victim of some of the uncalled for atrocities that happened. Never again should Ghanaians revisit those evil things and days .

What about the other coups?
@nerdi3984 Жыл бұрын
There were no blood sheds in the other coups. It's only the ones involving Rawlings (1979 and 1981).

What percentage were in support. If 20 people march with supporting placards in support. Does it represent all If slavely caused a civil war it means over 100 years in a democratic Ghana where there was a palace coup awaiting election should have three months so called revolution by form four oguguro filled boys company boys.

Martin Kpevu as usual your assessment and appraisal is rather from a Narrow Scope--- take a Brosder view. It so happens that "Coup de Tait " in our Era were successful because the Military as a body were the most organized "educated" organized group in our Society. --and greedy members (Officers)in the Military took advantage of the soldiers used them on a misguided Agenda. COUP are not the answer over ambitious men hungry for power to do exactly the same wrong the preach about.

I am inclined to say all the coups that has come about have as Architects members of a specific Tribe. It's unfortunate I should single that Group of tribal people. ---Why they don't use the avenue of Election to gain power--- Excuse me to use that expression of Inward in thought -- selfishness- Arrogance and the unfortunate feeling of being looked down upon. Next- don't blame the Idemnity Clause for those Coup Leaders on the soldiers for in the case point fingers at Lawyer Adomuah Bossman and Justice Annnang. So now Prof Atefuah make available the more copies. Atefuah make sure you save a copy for your keep.
