NPP have always hated Nkrumah even after helping CIA do 6 assassination attempts and eventually overthrow him. It is no secret they're jealous that J.B.Danquah will never be remembered in Africa like Nkrumah. Even if he said I think Akufo-Addo is better than Nkrumah people will chalk it up to a bad opinion and ignore. He rather said "your" Nkrumah which has a certain sense of arrogance and disrespect to those who hold him in high esteem.
