Hi Myka, I love your channel! Please consider doing a video on dealing with touchy-feely people in a polite way while delineating one’s personal boundaries. (At work, I’m trying to avoid certain clients….who keep putting their hands on my lower back and planting wet kisses on my cheek when I say hello to them!!!🤢) It’s not only creepy/disrespectful but I think it’s the reason I keep getting sick. Whatever happened to the good ol’ days of curtsying (for ladies) and bowing (for gentlemen)?! Much obliged, V.

I have the challenge often of being friendly at a party and then having men think I’m interested in them or follow me around a lot and get the wrong idea. How do I be friendly and polite and not give mixed signals? I don’t have women in my close circle who are good at this and I could use some help with phrases or body language options.

Excellent question. I finally had to break a bad habit of being too smiley or friendly to strangers. Guys can get the wrong idea.

How do you do this with men so they don't think you're romantically interested & start pursuing you?
@moaningpheromones3 жыл бұрын
Tell them you're looking for serious commitment and talk about your cats. That's a tough one. It's not possible. Same as it's not possible to compliment a woman on how she looks. You look blah blah this idiot must think he's got any chance with me. What a loser. I told a random woman as I passed the other way that I liked her coat colour. She said thank you. I didn't want anything else - it can happen. I wasn't interested. I just liked the coat. There's a lot of books out there that relate to your question - it's a big one trying to explain all of these social relationship behaviour dynamics. For me it's usually fairly obvious if a woman is interested or not. But then I love all of this human behaviour nonsense.

Because whatever they say always smile also when they say bad things to me with a smile all our friends they never notice what exactly they said!!! And they are likable because they do questions they never speak about them and they do a lot of compliments 😂😂😂😂 now i now 💪🏻

Too be honest I was always very likebable but being likebable also means that people might be very jealous about you. I remember in school that I was very likebable by guys and still I have good contact with men and unfortunately other girls were jealous and they were mean to me. Thankfully it's past and in school I met a girl who is now the love of my life so it wasn't all bad but likebable people unfortunately need to deal with jealous people sometimes.

An instant energy boosting tip : massage your both ears quite strongly with your hands up and down and into each little cranny; do'nt tear them off but do it quite energetically until they're hot and red. This is recommended by many osteopath or energetician practitioners. It works ! Just beware not to tear your earrings out !

@darkhorse74604 жыл бұрын
INFJ here. I think since I'm nervous about talking so I will hog a whole conversation due to anxiety- I'm just going to listen to people, I mean they are interesting. Once as a teen at a party everyone was laughing because the dad was just gabbing his life story to me-PLUS people remember you and like you when you listen-that's my game plan

That’s so funny that you should say that about energy when entering a party. I always have people approach me and I guess that’s why because I have energy and am upbeat and laughing. I was a hairdresser for 30 years so I can talk to anybody. I love these tips. Sometimes people forget certain things and they get stale. New York is a very social place. I’ve never been there but if I ever go I’m staying at the plaza.
