I have this device - not via Temu but found at a thrift store, of all places. Same general feeling on the solid feel of the device, first off. Impressed at bang / buck for these modern MP3 players versus what we used to see only a decade earlier. Same for the general software also and its file support. I didn't buy this for streaming services so I can't speak for that, but local file playback it's great for whatever Android-based app you want to add to it. Battery life is also not bad at all - Vorbis files running + Bluetooth + the screen off most the time, I generally get around 12 to 13 hours on a charge and that ain't bad. The various physical buttons also a huge plus for me - "pocket friendly" when you mentally remember what each button does. As for sound quality.....I don't consider myself an audiophile. My ears are "good enough" for LAME V0 or high-bitrate Vorbis for on-the-go devices like this, and it will drive my Yuin PK2's or my Sony V6's. But if the player sounded bad, I'd shelve it but I think it's got an OK sound. I do use an EQ and it helps but at this price point, it's fine. As for comparing with other players, I have a few "go to's" like my Zune HD which sounds better than this player, but again bang/buck for the price. Also, it works with a micro sd 512GB card that has my entire lossy music collection on it (~50k songs). Musicolet takes about two minutes to start up with that amount of data so usually I opt to use Foobar 2000 instead for its local folder capabilities. Even my phone doesn't have close to that much storage anymore (rrrr Google and the rest killing the micro SD slot).

How do I find your Qobuz playlist? I’m sure I heard you recommend it on a video but can’t remember which one or find a link. Also, do you read comments on old videos? I asked if adding a preamp can improve sound quality (compared to source, dac & power amp) or is it really just a glorified volume knob? Or can it improve imaging & soundstage etc as well? Cheers

This was an awesome review and a first watch for my wife, only because it has Temu involved, lol. She's addicted to Temu... I figured it was too good to be true with a DAP from Temu. She did find me a 60.00 set of IEM'S from Temu for like 15.00 and they actually sound amazing. Good luck in your move!

A USB A cable.... Isn't that like seriously outdated. I noticed many of temu products when it comes to their MP3 players have the USB A cables.... I don't think it's a coincidence. I think they're just using old stock.
