I think going to NCAA was the smartest thing for her. She has cleaned up so much. She is just a powerhouse gymnast! Very proud of this girl. 👏

I know mykayla will probably be the alternate but i really hope not , she really improved and worked hard, and she recieved sho much hatred in the past for her form and she workd on it , her music and choreo and she fixed it , even after rio finishing 4th at trials and not being pickd was so wrong , and i feel she deserves a win right now

I don't see why anyone would be the alternate but Grace. She is a great gymnast but adds the least to the team score potential-wise.

Me too she so deserves to be on this team after being in college for past 2 years. She's already being back to top 3 in the world on floor and vault. USA has better medal chances with her on the team rather than Grace who is not really medal ready on any 1 event. And MyKayla beat her at the USA Trial competition for team selection. So she has equal chances as Grace to be AA medalist. But more so if Carey or Biles faulters on floor or vault. She could easily be the 2nd US Gymnast in event finals on those 2. Everyone is saying yeah but we don't need a 3rd power tumbler. Well here is a lesson for them. We have Sunisa Lee and Biles who can make the Bars Final and Eaker & Biles who can make the Beam Final. So pick your poison. A 3rd power tumbler. A 3rd bars specialist which none of the other R girls are. Or another Beam specialist. And in my eyes the other girls really aren't. grace would have to be perfect if shed make a bars or beam final. And I don't see that happening when u look at her scores in competitions this past year.

I was at the PAC12 Championships and she really has improved! We’ve got to remember she’s only been back training at the Elite level for literally months. She’s going to continue to improve!! I hope all the ladies stay healthy before the games!

@@fatbitch4311 she is a member of the US National team and that is a huge accomplishment in itself. Whether alternate or not, making it to Worlds with a team as deep as USA just screams "I'm a bad ass gymnast" lol.. she has improved immensely. Her only issue is that she and jade have the same strengths and weaknesses and like having the same gymnast.... itll be interesting to see how it pans out for 2020

Skinner should’ve been competing over grace. Myk should’ve done vault and floor in QF and maybe beam. Myk probably would be used in TF only on vault but she could get a really good score with her Cheng and I don’t see why Kara couldn’t do bars in TF over grace because Kara is a lot better on bars because she beat grace at world selection camp. TF lineup should’ve been VT: Myk, Jade, Simone UB: Kara, Simone, Suni BB: Kara, Suni, Simone FX: Jade/Myk, Suni, Simone. Grace should’ve been ALTERNATE

Make Grace Alternate. Take MyKayla!! . more chances for medals. People say we don't need a 3rd power tumbler. But HELLO. we don't need a 3rd bars specialist either - we have Sunisa and Biles. We don't need a 3rd Beam Specialist either. We have Eaker and Biles. Neither Grace or MyKayla have much chance making any beam or bar final. And both are equally good in AA. Grace can't really make any 1 event final but just in case Carey or Biles faulter on Vault and Floor then we have Skinner to hit and take their spot in Vault or Floor finals. SIMPLE #USAGYMNASTICS. MAKE THE RIGHT DECISION!!

They’re probably gonna put Suni on floor so why not have the one eventer be Mykala with her Cheng? Pretty sure it contributes more than Grace’s bars. If they don’t, leaving out Hurd would’ve been for nothing

I just realised mykayla doesn’t gain anything for doing the triple twist at the end. Her start value didn’t change because she did the moors but changed it to a chuso which balances eachother out. This version is way cleaner tho so it’s better
