Have mine on the bench behind me. not used it since unpacking 3 days ago. I do however believe they should have put a fuse in back or slither of plastic in across battery which needed removing before machine would turn on. That button could easily be pressed by someone or their children at the beginning. Soon as that button is pressed the carriage which is fixed to the steel bar you are removing moves to the left. so without it being able to I would guesstimate you ruin the machine before ever using it.

Do you think we have to do a clamp calibration everytime the clamps are exchanged? For example, I keep my machines and gear in portable stackable toolboxes to transport easily, but I keep the clamps off while in storage to avoid the table hitting anything. So you think I have to cal each time I power up since I keep my table empty?

Very helpful video. I just received my dolphin however the cutter does not go all the way into the mounting hole so that it can be secured on the notched area. Probe goes in just fine into its mounting hole but not the cutter. Seems as if there is some obstruction Any ideas as to what may be the problem?

Just force it a bit but lube it up first with houdini or wd40

There is a slot where the screw grabs make sure that is face correctly toward screw and screw is nice and tight... you cutter is definitely not centered correctly .

Speaking for HU162T(9) or HU162T(10) I haven't seen any video on YT using this machine (only some single ones with the more expensive Mini). how to cut emergency key (skinny ekergency key) like LX90 and DA34? i had a customer for 2009 Toyota sieena but Dophine xp-005 cant cut like original key so i had to reorder just emergency key. please help me out my teacher

For the skinny lexus and toyota key u need to place a thin shim or metal shim to raise it up a bit... usually for nissan ill cut a mechanical metal key and then duplicate it On to the emergency key with my Condor XC-009

Hello Gerry ! dolphin must be updated through a pc! you will need to download two things,xhorse upgrade kit and the dolphin software !!

I just bought this machine Dolphin xp005. I keep getting probe not detected error. I have made many attempts to calibrate and have changed the probe as well. With no luck. I am not able to get help from anyone. Xhorse support is kind of useless and a waste of time. If you have idea or have seen and resolved this error, Id greatly appreciate your response. By the way love your videos. I have probably watched them all at least 3 times each.

First thing u have to do is height adjustment... also try the electric test .. might not be grounding good..

I tried the electric test, not sure what result i am supposed to get here. How long is the electric test supposed to take? I left it for about 2 min didnt give me any messages. Try not to disconnect from bluetooth when cutting a key by code ... also update to the latest software and calibrate adjustment heights and calibrate clamps

La copia nunca se hace por universal... se hace bajo de base de datos de vehiculos.. universal es cuando la llave no esta de bajo de base de datos vehículos o si la llave no tiene nombre ...tambien recomiendo que le utilizes el software a la version mas nueva.. y re calibrés todas las manos abcd m2 y m1 ..gracias a ti!
