Aw you guys are such amazing parents! Really recommend the book Positive Parenting by Rebecca Eanes when it comes to “discipline”. It really helped me out with setting limits and discipline but with positive communication, and working together with your partner. It’s all a learning process and so many ups and downs, so happy for you all. Ps. The sleep gets better! :)

My visa was just renewed for another 3 years and we don't know what changes there might be for people applying for the first time. If you know anything about this please reply. None of our friends have heard of any changes affecting them either.

I knew about Korean men's drinking culture from my students when I taught conversational English many years ago in Seoul. They would tell me about having to go out drinking with their boss. Thankfully I didn't have to deal with that environment with my language institute director/boss. Both of you being self-employed definitely has its perks. I just commented this on another video, but I think it's so important that I hope you'll forgive me mentioning it again: overwhelming evidence shows that babies should never be left crying and should have as much physical contact as possible. Babies who are held all the time and sleep with their parents cry less and have more healthy and stable attachment. Truly, the evidence is in. The first couple years are all about building that foundation of trust and security. As they get older, they can then gain independence step by step (through milestones like, for example, learning to sleep on their own, then later learning to spend the day away from their parents at preschool or daycare, then eventually learning to live on their own in college, etc.) So please, to all parents, don't leave your babies to cry, and don't hesitate to keep them in your arms. It is your instinct to pick them up and hold them for a reason! ❤ :)

HI guys! Teddy is so adorable!! You are a beautiful family. I have a question about the drinking culture. I'm very surprised to hear that so many companies drink after work and how much of it. How does that work with Asian flush? I know that half of Korean population do not have the enzyme to digest the alcohol.

I'm not sure, but I thought Asian flush was just the face going red? Which happens a lot, but on a whole Koreans are very good drinkers- as in they drink an awful lot and still go to work in the morning.

Hahaha no one can prepare you for HOW tired you are after a baby is born. It's exciting to have a baby, but the fatigue seems almost unbearable. The first night you can sleep 4 hrs straight, you feel like a new person. Don't worry, it only last a few months. :-)
