Mylène is quite popular outside France for a French artist. Like any Francophone countries and actually she is popular in east Europe, like Russia. And when you think of it, she never had done any PR move and the biggest part of her career was before internet. I still think despite of that she is quite a popular artist outside France. Same with Lara Fabian.
