Saying bo nix out performed Kyler statistically is a stretch and a bad take. Kyler had more passing yards, less ints, better completion percentage, slightly higher qb rating and a higher qbr. Also Kyler had more rushing yards and rushing tds. Did nix have better team success? Yes. Did Kyler play a part in the end of year collapse? Yes. But the keyword is Team! Denver obviously had a better team performance and the cardinals as a team didn’t play well down the stretch. It’s not all on Kyler for the collapse just like it’s not all on Nix for Denver’s success. So Just stop with these bad Kyler takes.

If our defensive line and pass rush was up to snuff, we would have made the playoffs easily. That's without fixing any of the other issues we had. I can think of several games last year that were within reach, but we gave their QBs 4+ seconds to stand in the pocket for 4th Qtr go-ahead TDs.

I hate agreeing with Jonny on anything, but trading any amount of draft capitol for garret is a bad idea. It would be a prime Steve Keim move actually. Respectfully, to both Bo & Jonny this team needs to acquire at least 2 new starting pass-rushers, 2 new starting DT’s, a starting RT, and a starting guard via the draft or FA. As for Miller’s draft, you can make the argument that AZ still needs 2 starting outside CB’s; when your best CB is your slot corner, the nyou’re in serious trouble. Melton was a reach in the 2nd round; most of the nfl talent evaluators had him as a 3rd player, who’d play either corner 3 or 4. I’m not sure I’d draft 2 cb’s this way, but the argument can be made it’s a need however. In my opinion we should cut both Jones, Nickels, & J. Williams. Then use the money we save cutting Williams to defer most of the dead hits from releasing the other 2. They’re is not a single pass rusher available in this years fa class I’d pay; especially someone like reddick, whose production has declined each year over the last 3+ years. More than that, I want a team 1st player, and at this point Redddick isn’t that type of player. He blows-off his assignments in order to go glory hunting for sacks; since he’s learned that sacks are what get him paid, and that’s his primary goal at this poin in his career.

@ Kyler Murray is 36-45-1 as the starter of the Cardinals. His end of season collapses are holding the Cardinals back. He did not earn the ridiculous contract he has and it’s time to move on. I’m glad you think he is great and I’m sure you have lots of reasons for his lack of success. But this is year 7 and most teams would have looked to replace him by now.
