He should go to the Commanders. $90M in cap, 7 draft picks, went 12-5 last year going to the NFC championship as well, and have a star quarterback. They need edge help and it’s not like the defense is horrible either so it’s not like he’ll have a work load. They got good pieces like Bobby Wagner, Frankie Luvu, Jonathan Allen, Marshon Lattimore, so he’ll be a good fit.

I'd love to see him lined up opposite Hutch in Detroit. His cap hit the next two years is manageable and the Lions have the room to make it work. They are also a contender so they check that box. But giving up multiple first round picks? That doesn't fit Brad Holmes style. When he got to Detroit he said he was committed to building through the draft and so far he's stuck to that philosophy, avoiding the shiny object FA's and splash trades that win headlines in March but more often than not don't balance out come December. I mean, hell yes, by all means try to work out a del for this guy. I just think the odds of my team landing this guy are somewhat remote. As a long-time fan of a team that could never seem to get it right and still hasn't brought home the Lombardi I feel your pain Cleveland. It starts and ends at the top and in the front-office. Until that get fixed your problems will never go away.
