Musical genius is a strong term but if anyone deserves such a title, it's Myles. He is undoubtedly one of the hardest working musicians, always improving his vocal technique and guitar skills and constantly writing. He's extremely prolific but the crazy thing is the sheer amount of quality songs he creates either alone or with any of he bands. I don't think he even knows how to stop creating. It was what he was put here on Earth to do.

If you're still looking to the grammy's to give you validation for your taste in music, then you are looking in all the wrong places to search for the tune in your heart. Love what you hear. Don't dismiss other genres simply because it does not align with your taste. If you belittle other artists to raise yours above the rest then at that point it's just you being douché. It's an old argument to an old complaint.

The Ides of March Lyrics by Myles Kennedy [Verse 1] Some say you never know It's easy come, it's easy go Some say they knew it from the start Some say the end is nigh That no one will get out alive Some say it's written in the stars Beware the Ides of March [Verse 2] Well, just beyond the blue horizon We see the clouds begin to form Don't be afraid, we must keep fighting And cling to courage in the storm And if you listen very closely And don't throw caution to the wind Take it easy, take it slowly You'll save yoursеlf before the еnd [Chorus 1] So much is changing Who we are, what we are There's no point in waiting Beware the Ides of March [Verse 3] In streets of fire you hear the screaming For what some think is left to lose Life is precious, it's worth keeping Too many's end may come too soon [Chorus 2] Please don't forsake me Don't break my heart, don't break my heart All I am saying Beware the Ides of March [Post Chorus] Like an early warning As the storm is forming It is time Beware the Ides of March The Ides of March The Ides of March The Ides of March [Chorus 2] Please don't forsake me Don't break my heart, don't break my heart All I am saying Beware the Ides of March Beware the Ides of March [Bridge] But I believe there is a way I still believe it's not too late Don't let this fall apart, don't let it fall apart Break the divide, just step away Cool heads prevail in times of change Remember who we are Remember what we are Remember what we're meant to be [Verse 1/Outro] Some say you never know It's easy come, it's easy go Some say they knew it from the start Beware the Ides of March By Myles Richard Bass Kennedy

With any luck. It's a fact that if we can get him nominated, nobody else nominated in the same category stands a chance. Even if he's nominated for more than one category he still wins. As was said before though, Grammy's are useless. I would rather see him get into the Rock and Roll HOF as soon as he's eligible. You see, Creed is already in the RRHOF. Slash is already in the RRHOF. As much as I hate to even speak these words publicly, Alter Bridge and Slash ft MK & Conspirators will NOT get into the RRHOF. So Myles only chance of getting into the RRHOF is via his solo material. If that happens, they will give accolades to everything else he has been a part of. The music community knows, we fans have always known, it's time the world knows about Myles Fuckin' Kennedy. Do everything you can to get him nominated for that 2022 Grammy.

Another great song from Myles! I thought the video was awesome too, I mean the camera angles, the lighting/atmosphere, the location changes, and especially the fine editing!

Damn... the guitar work starting at the 4:06 mark...goose bumps. There is simply not a more talented artist alive today. Any medium, any genre. We're blessed to be living at the time of this man's genius.

This has almost an early 70's Floyd vibe to it. It would slip onto Meddle and not be out of place. Man this is so fricking awesome!

I could imagine this masterpiece being played at an apocaliptic movie, just a guy and a girl walking thowards the camera and a lot of shit going on in the back, almost like "sleeping dogs - Zakk Wylde". When the music rythym changes, the background also changes. It would flow from dispair to hope, from "Like an early warning, as the storm is forming, it is time, beware the Ides of March" to "But I believe there is a way, I still believe it's not too late, don't let this fall apart".

This song slaps so hard! I can't even begin to describe how amazing this is. I think this is your best song (from your solo carreer) followed closely by "Love Can Only Heal".

Here goes Mr.Myles Kennedy delivering yet another mind blowing performance. This man's skill and talent is beyond comprehension & the good news is that he is only getting better and better.

This is what happens when you are a jazz guitar player teacher, leader of Mayfield four, the chosen singer for a hollywood heavy metal fantasy band, Alter Bridge frontman and team up with an english guitar player with a weird hat.

I know man! I listen to at least the first 30 seconds three times a day on KZbin everyday. KZbin will count up to 3 listens if you listen to the first 30 seconds of the song at least. So that's Twenty-One votes a week from every person who did that. But seriously, if everyone did that we could bump that song up to 2 million listens in no time. It's actually a very noticeable way that the fans can thank Myles Kennedy. Because MK would know that we appreciated his musicianship so much that we did that. I say what the hell go for it. What is 90 seconds a day ( plus of course listening to the entire song)! 🤘🤘 wants to do that. Of course I always wind up listen to the whole song once a day!

I cannot stop listening to this song, I love it so much! I was blown away by Year of the Tiger and thought that his follow up album couldn't possibly top that amazing album. It has so much heart, feeling, emotion and beauty in every song, not to mention so creative and interesting and different to everything else I listen to (as a metal fan). After listening to this song, I am once again blown away and cannot wait for the album in May, I know it's going to be epic and I will love it. This man is not capable of producing anything that is not completely brilliant, in my opinion anyway.

Some say you never know It's easy come it's easy go Some say they knew it from the start Some say the end is nigh That no one will get out alive Some say it's written in the stars Beware the ides of March Well just beyond the blue horizon We see the clouds begin to form Don't be afraid. We must keep fighting And cling to courage in the storm And if you listen very closely And don't throw caution to the wind Take it easy take it slowly You'll save yourself before the end So much is changing Who we are What we are There's no point in waiting Beware the Ides of March άɪdz In streets of fire you hear the screaming For what some think is left to lose Life is precious it's worth keeping Too many's end may come too soon Please don't forsake me Don't break my heart Don't break my heart All I am saying Beware the Ides of March Like an early warning As the storm is forming It is time Beware the Ides of March The Ides of March The Ides of March The Ides of March Please don't forsake me Don't break my heart Don't break my heart All I am saying Beware the Ides of March But I believe there is a way I still believe it's not too late Don't let this fall apart Don't let it fall apart Break the divide just step away Cool heads prevail in times of change Remember who we are Remember what we are Remember what we're meant to be Some say you never know It's easy come it's easy go Some say they knew it from the start Beware the ides of March
