Your new way of memory keeping in the weekly hemlock and oak inspired me to change up my own system. I’ve been using a Hobonichi cousin for a few years now. I’d use the daily pages for daily journaling, but I never really figured out a way to make the weekly spreads work for me. For the past year I’ve also been doing Morning Pages ( a la The Artists Way) and it’s made the daily pages in my Hobonichi redundant. So for 2025 I’m going to continue my daily journaling in my morning pages journals and use the weekly spreads of the hemlock and oak (already pre ordered it!) to do some short memory keeping like you’ve been doing. If I have bigger events to document, like vacations, I plan on tipping in extra pages. That doesn’t happen often, so I don’t think it will get too bulky. (If anyone has input on that, I’d love to hear it.) My only concern is getting used to the heavier paper. I really do love the Tomoe River paper! Although it really does have its limitations. Love your content!

Yay!! That makes me so happy that you’ve found away to use all your pages. I used to memory keep in the Hobonichi but I struggled with the thin paper. Like you said it does restrict you from using a lot of things but it’s still a beautiful planner. I just prefer thicker paper because I do stamp a lot and the Hobonichi bleeds and can’t handle all my stamping 😂 If you are thinking of switching it up I recommend the hemlock it holds up really well.

@@MyLittleJournal we have three children, now 30, 27 & 25.. the youngest two are the girls and Lilo and Stitch was their favorite as well - we’d call the youngest Stitch because she was always into something and the daughter that was 16 months older was always correcting her and trying to get to to behave - she was a natural Lilo! In high school they made their own costumes for a spirit day and wore their respective characters. They’ve had so much fun over the years with it and we all still love the movie!

love this video, great inspiration. if creating more stamps ...a good large alpha like the large Iris one you use from KB, dog stamp, desk working stamp.... Could you say where you got stickers from for daily journal the chores and cartoon ones representing working are so cute.... Just love all your journals

I’ve been thinking of stamps I can recommend you design & I was going to mention an alpha that looks like an older typewriter font… then I saw one in this video. Your chick-fil-A (spelling? Idk what it is) was stamped in something similar. Anyways you’re doing great. If I can slow down a bit from work I’ll probably sign up to your peaches.

Hello, I really love watching your different projects because you are very inspiring. But I was disappointed when I ordered a 2024 scrappy spiral notebook and receive a currently one. I would like to make a December daily with it and just cover the 2024 on the cover with some christmassy stach (the background is green so perfect). I guess I will have to cover the entirely front cover now ... Great notebook otherwise
