Great channel. Guys Milo is right, don't put money first, focus on making the highest quality prints you can! I started printing from my garage (Printing on Saturdays only) and with-in 1 year. I had 3 retail stores, a production warehouse and 2 delivery vans! I sold the business and retired nicely after 27 years in the business! if you put out outstanding products people/opportunities will find you! God speed to you Milo and to all you printers out there!

Just subscribed. Been doing embroidery & DTF for a few years now and just took on CO2 Laser, UV Printing this year and looking at screen printing for 2025 due to growth. Your encouragement, guidance, and faith is contagious and inspiring. We see you up there in Chi-town bro... I have an interesting testimony after being in business for almost 5 years part-time while holding down a corporate banking job. I got laid off recently with a handsome severance package so...I am going back to the drawing board to restructure my business to go after contracts AND God is making sure my family eats while I do it. My biggest hurdle right now is finding a heat press transfer that actually feels and looks like it was screen pressed. A lot of what I’m seeing and getting in these sample packets sent to me feel like rubber on a shirt. And that just feels so amateur to me. I don’t mind doing the screen pressing myself, if that’s what I have to do. But before I go that route, I want to make sure I’ve exhausted all avenues for my original approach and getting heat transfers that are as close as possible to a screen press. What’s your advice here? Thanks for this post. Really great business advice. 😊

@@myloprints starting a clothing line. The goal is to manage margins by creating/purchasing large quantities of a heat press transfers for graphics I want to carry and sell on my shirts. But I want to get heat transfers that have a look and feel of an actual screen press. That’s means soft and well blended when needed. Or thick and durable to the feel, when needed. But I keep getting these samples just feel rubbery and sorta cheap.
