Bushcraft is a skillset. It's not mandatory as a bushcrafter to go naked to the woods and trying to survive. To do that every week is a unrealistic fantasy. The way I see it, bushcraft skills make hiking and camping more efficient, lightweight and interesting... and not to forget FUN!.

A master of his craft, no question! I don't limit this to bushcraft. The photography, the audio, the pacing..... he gets more narrative out of less tricks than most big name hollywood producers. It's always a pleasure to watch a master at work regardless of the subject. The humor is so understated that I laugh weeks later thinking of it. I refer to gems like.. not cutting out the video of him backing up the car to retrieve the camera...unpacking a nice bottle of wine and a fancey stem to go with his camp meal. Many bravos and thanks!

As always beautiful video. Burger looked amazing. Awesome pike! What you wrote in description, exactly why I watch. I'm an outdoorsman my whole life. Most of it as modern camper/backpacker. I've relied on gear. Last 4/5 years I've been foraging and practicing more primitive skills, rely on tool, knowledge and environment to provide. So the simple to the complex it builds my knowledge makes me better outdoorsman/person. Feeds the soul. I'm greatful you are willing to share your knowledge. Thank you.

I like it when you see a flick about someone out in the bush and not shooting their pie hole off on everything that they do. Brings back many memories when my buddies when out in the bush camping for a few days, we didn't talk much either. Each one of us had a job to do & we did it. The experience came in handy when I went out on a bivouac with the rest of the troops. Lot of bugs, skunks, key deer, snakes, but we made do.

So far I've only watched a few of your videos. Here's a summary of my assessment so far: 1. The settings are always peaceful and beautiful, and portrayed in a way that's much like what I see when I'm in such places (the spider webs, the moody scenery shoots). 2. The camp skills and equipment are always simple and elegant. 3. And when watching an entire video I tend to get HUNGRY.
