Swedwoods, I was re-oiling the forks that you so kindly made for my daughters and thought that I would send you a message to say 'thank you' again. Both my daughters are still loving the outdoors and we are blessed to have a bit of land where we can cook outdoors - Heidi and I are building an outdoor kitchen. Both Heidi and Pollyanna love watching you on KZbin and from my own personal perspective thank you for what you produce. Please keep it coming and help to bring the outdoors, Sweden and good cooking into our lives.

Watching this video for the upteenth time as I do with all your videos Thanks for your respect for nature and not drowning out natural sounds with annoying music. Thanks also for the respect you show viewers by not doing the talking heads self promotion in your videos unlike so many others who are want to be celebrities. Unfortunately as a wheelchair user in his seventies I don't go camping in the bush like I used to BUT I was never the class of woodsman you are. I appreciate the generosity you showed the young girls by carving the camping forks. I wish you many more years of camping and hope to see future videos ALL THE VERY BEST TO YOU IN 2022

Dear Swedwoods, I have 2 very happy and excited young girls who will be very grateful for the forks. Heidi could not believe it when she saw her name appear on the TV. Both myself and my wife were so touched with your extremely kind act and thought. A simple message to our girls would had been enough, but we were amazed at the forks - completely unexpected. I am not sure how to contact you privately, but if you let me know I will send you our address. All this aside another amazing video and high quality content. You have made my family’s day and two little girls have gone to bed very happy.

its mostly impractical, pretty much. nice he cut some wood to make a saw, but he didn't make the blade (today the store makes it easier even though i like this stuff and trying at home, just smelling fire and being in nature). . ect ect. just not reality today. get a nice knife, decent axe/hatchet and a hand saw ur good to go to start doing/learning this in your own back yard, its fun. but i like the editing. peaceful video. doing that regardless is hard work and takes hours, wears you out just cutting the wood alone like that. be prepared for real work doing this stuff, it aint no 45 min job, its hours. bring bug spray lol an axe and knife can go a long way starting out, just know its practice and actual work. he makes it look simple, but i know from experience he's working. gj. starting a fire alone w/o any fluid takes a lot of practice. EDIT: its worth it though. being outside/nature is the best part imo :) a fire really helps that too. gl watch some tutorial channels and start doing it yourself! cheap tents, lighter fluid and fold up chairs also exist so dont think you cant camp if you dont do it like that. lol k
