2010s Electronic Music is way better than that of the 2000’s, although the aughts did have it’s own share of great songs. I think both the ‘90s and ‘10s have offered better.

3210mas This album was not ahead of its time. It was very much of its time and a lot of fun it was too. It's just that you are behind the times. Everything is of its time but as the years go by it's just retro. Still relevant and open for people of any age to enjoy. I wish there was this much energy in today's boring music scene which is of its time. I don't think it will be looked at so fondly when Sam smith becomes retro....yawn.

Not exactly, but they are all forms of electronic music drenched with irony and nostalgia, so there is definitely some kinship there. Electroclash was a short-lived scene, but it has had a widespread influence.
