I used to dupes & exploits for one of the more popular roblox simulators and I reported around 5 to the developer and only made around 50k robux (around maybe 100-200 dollars) when the people who took advantage of these exploits made thousands just selling pets. Developers of games cheap out when offering money for exploits because they know eventually a sucker who doesn't know how to black-market will sell the method to them for cheap.

Wow, never thought one of these videos would be about somebody I knew on skyblock. I used to hangout with Simple at least 10 hours every week in calls from 2020-early 21. I would've never thought he'd have this sort of ending haha. I do remember though how in the days of ghast minions for combat exp, he would macro his ass off every night to farm more. We'd always tease him about how he'd be caught one day, but he never was. I guess he just kept going deeper and deeper. Crazy cool story to end on though to be honest. Great video, I don't play anymore but seeing how things have panned out over time is super interesting.

From how I see it, he could do those stuff BEFORE, but he only do "minor" damage stuff for his own entertainment, and I think that shows enough about how he cared about Hypixel itself, and the line was drawn when the PQA members called him out. Besides, I think a bug-finding group SHOULD have a connection to a cheating community, it's pretty obvious. To find and figure out a popular exploit is through a group that actively using it, that particular member probably have a personal problem with SimpleOrigins.

0:43 programmer here, the number 2147483647 is the 32-bit integer limit. what does this mean ? when a computer stores data it can do it in powers of 2 bits (2, 4, 8 etc.) and counting with binary bits, the number 5 for example becomes 101 which is 3 bits long and is stored as 0101 (power of 2 - 2^2=4). the highest a 32 bit binary number can count is 2147483647 (I'm not going to write the binary here as it's just 32 ones) so maximizing your damage makes it that number.

The real evil resides in how the server was turned into a cash cow targeting young kids while the operators were not willing to give out sufficient rewards to vulnerability hunters. I only find it funny when someone who invested in real efforts turned such corporate abuse into a weapon against the operators themselves. No one would waste their time on this if the microtransaction schemes weren't as predatory.

​@@mu11668BYou are talking about hypixel? What sort of advertisements? Theres nothing in your face like loot crates on another server such as purple prison. Most things on the store are COSMETICS. Ranks are a way to support the server and get early access to game updates (in the case of skyblock) and maybe test for bugs. The only "P2W" on the store are skyblock gems. Which you can get an in game item which sells for roughly 8million coins. To put this into perspective you would need to spend hundreds of dollars to get something like the hyperion, however there are game requirements in order to even use it.
