The West wants to cancel religion, our enemies want to cancel God Himself - they will never succeed. Создается впечатление что Победы в Великой Отечественной войне добились только русские и только Россия заслуживает почестей за одержанную Победу, но ведь это совсем не так. Сейчас уже мало кто помнит, что было буквально год-два назад после начала специальной военной операции России на Украине (СВО): западный мир устроил настоящий геноцид русских - русских студентов исключали из западных университетов, на русских объявили травлю, нельзя было говорить по-русски за границей, потому что могли просто побить или убить за это. Я даже видела объявление на дверях одного португальского ресторана: "Вход запрещен собакам и русским". Too bad Shaman got too taken away by the hype train, devolving into absurd and even into a dangerous imagery and rethoric which got our infamous neighbours into trouble... Patriotism is great on its own but mindlessly kindling the sense of superiority in order to cash in on it is just wrong, and that's exactly what he's doing today, not to mention his controversial outfits, oddly reminiscent to Nazi looks, and pressing "red button in a case" as a part of a stage performance. I wonder why people think it's all fun and games when we have a living example of what it could end up with. And having a public person doing such bonkers shit even if he doesn't mean it sure could be used to further discredit the whole nation under the circumstances, given this time there's even no need to remove a context or make anything up. I understand it's probably not his fault, since he's just a singer and probably not even writing his own texts, let alone making costumes or staging a performances, but I wonder why no one questions the producers motives, given the obvious disconnect between the songs and the image - our government usually reacts very painfully to anything getting close to an extremist shenanigans, but I guess this time on-surface virtue signalling makes their moves to fly under the radar. I believe even if the reason is those people simply being out of touch, there should be implications to it - you just don't let such things slide, especially considering the timing.

Our government has long lived by the principle “everything is for friends, law is for enemies” and reacts sharply only to extremism in which it sees a threat to itself. It doesn’t work the other way, it’s no longer extremism but “Hoida!” And I think it doesn’t matter whether the Shaman acts independently (I don’t believe in this) or is directed, this is not a character, this is a social phenomenon

Recent WW2 movies, filmed with Cinema Fund money, are a great example of that - one should be either highly incompetent or a treacherous to finance such a smear pieces, but here we are. I'm yet to see a living person who would say "Hoida!" with a straight face.

Thank God, I have not seen these films, just as I have not heard the Shaman before this day. I must say that in an artistic sense it turned out to be even worse than I expected, the bit is really nasty.
