Why is the motorbiker behind the ambulance instead of on the front making the road clear for the ambulance. I am impressed by the Dutch motor police with escort for an ambulance, they clear the way, it is well organized, efficient, high skills, good communication with each other and other road users. It is smooth, so the paramedic can work on the patient in the ambulance, it is the best i have see, you have to watch Verkeerspolitie Den Haag. We all can learn from them.

Because the ambulance is either blocking him from getting in front (not their fault) or they are in a stretch of road that is very fast.

I am sorry to be negative but escorts always ride in front of an Ambulance. The purpose is to get as much traffic out of the way as possible and shorten the time to hospital. I doubt that you having gloves spelling POLICE doing anything. So, up in front of the Ambulance and clear out the traffic lanes.
