Excellent work. The sensors on your arm transmit the signals to the mechanical hand. You should take the next step and install pressure sensors on the mechanical hand that give feedback to your arm. So you can feel what the mechanical arm feels.

As your schoolmate from IDS, I am so frigging amazed of this!!! Keep it up! (though I would suggest to put some space between the pointer and the middle finger in the palms like those in between the middle finger, ring finger and little finger)
@jesslopez63448 жыл бұрын
Hi Pol! Thanks for your comment. :) The design of the hand is actual just adopted from InMoov, an open source 3D printed life-size robot by Gael Langevin. I've linked one of his videos, I'm sure you'll find his works quite amazing. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fmW9YWybmd1oaKc

amazing work and very amazing motion accuracy. I am also working on this project but i am confused how to exactly get this level of accuracy with EMG can i get the source code for this project or may be the algorithm you used.

MYO armband is the name, from Thalmic labs (lately sold to Google).
@Kinetic_CGI Жыл бұрын
very nice, I would like to see the latency go down, so it would be much more synchronous with the commands from the brain, maybe getting it to the point the brain just embodies the new limb.

Hi, I'd be curious to know what this project has given you in general and if it had an effect on what you're working on currently in your life, now that it has been 7 years since this video was uploaded? 🤔🤔🤔

@@Sketchy_Dood How do you think you are meant to make myoelectric control with D.I.Y. This isn't some simple body-powered stuff. it has very complex sensors. This sort of stuff is so complex it no longer counts as D.I.Y,
@Sketchy_Dood4 жыл бұрын
@@theparkouristad Just because it's not simple doesn't mean you can't do it yourself, D.I.Y means Do it yourself, so if you learn the skills you can also do it yourself, the concept of this project is pretty simple if you think about it, just 3d printed parts with motors in it, controlled by a sensored.
@theparkouristad4 жыл бұрын
@@Sketchy_Dood D.I.Y is usually used as a term of making something simple yourself. When people think D.I.Y they think of making your own shelf or own phone case, not making prosthetic arms. If you do know how to make one, then send me a link. Yours sincerely, some guy on the internet.
