These videos are great. I am looking to start learning how to sew and your videos are a great learning tool. I am currently looking for an affordable sewing machine that can sew cordura.

Another awesome video. I wish all how-to vids were as straight forward as yours. Seems like most are just filling time while trying to look like a cool guy. One question, is there a particular tourniquet that fits this unit of will most be ok? Thanks again!

I use a TYPICAL GC 6-7D Industrial Machine for my Projects. There is also a Video on my Channel about it. But you can also use common household machines to make simple pouches

May seem a stupid question but did you sew through the plastic insert or was it just small enough for you to sew down the sides of it ?
@AdventureGearProjects
@AdventureGearProjects 4 жыл бұрын
The plastic insert matches the webbing in widht and I just stitched through the plastic insert😎

Are you sewing through the PETG plastic insert? Is the plastic soft enough to not damage the needle? If so, what kind of needle are you using? Edit: I see you answered the plastic question. However what needle did you use?
@AdventureGearProjects

Hi, yes I am sewing through the PETG and I am using a 110 Needle (german size) cheers and thx for following up🤘😎

what type of 2" webbing are you using for the body? i didnt pay attention when sourcing my materials but giving it a second look i'd say it's 2" 55301. I just tried making one with 2" 17337 webbing and am a little less than pleased with the results as it is not very rigid and I am wondering if that is why! still turned out OK and usable - your tutorial was very helpful and inspiring!
@AdventureGearProjects
@AdventureGearProjects 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Joshua, I used 5cm (2") webbing from Tacticaltrim.de for the body. It is very rigid and strong. Cheers🤘😎

@AdventureGearProjects

Hi, that depends on where you are situated. I bought my PETG plastic insert on ebay. But you can get it at any Hardware Store over here in Germany or at modulor.de for Example. Cheers🤘😎

@@AdventureGearProjects ah so it’s really just trial and error. Is there a specific length per loop or that kind of stuff that you figured out?
@AdventureGearProjects

@@catkaz jop, there is a specific length for any row of molle that I figured out and I noticed that for all my Projects. When I am getting back to make Tutorials f.ex. for a Mollepouch then I get back to that topic🤘😎
