Quando descobri que a minha mãe tinha cancro, em 2018, andei a calcorrear meia Lisboa, a ouvir esta música, que saíra há pouco tempo, e sentia-me profundamente triste. Chorava. Ainda a tinha. Passaram-se 4 anos. Infelizmente, morreu. Agora já não me faz chorar. Ouço-a com aquela tristeza seca de quem aprendeu a sofrer. Lindíssima canção, e todos passaremos por isto.

This was my favourite song at Eurovision, I had no idea what they were singing but I was so moved by the vocals and the melody. And when I looked up what the song was about, as well as the English version, I was moved even more! I love this song so much that I'm trying to learn the lyrics :) Congratulations to the lyricist for composing what can only be described as a melodic masterpiece, and to the singer who sung the song in such an angelic way. Aquilo que disseste não faz sentido...então nao sabes as regras da eurovisao A Espanha, França, Inglaterra, Alemanha e a Italia ( os BIG 5) passam diretamente á final porque são os paises que contribuem mais financeiramente junto ao vencedor do ano passado, neste caso como foi Portugal ,nós somos os anfitriões e vamos directamente para a final =)

It seems that the green screen has a powerful meaning, I guess. We expect to see something in there. But I feel that's on purpose: there's something missing and that is what the whole song is about. Losing someone, a missing piece, an empty space... The video seems unfinished and it seems to be a metaphor of loss, emptiness. Great song, btw! Isto do fundo verde tem que se lhe diga... Penso que tenha um significado maior do que parece à primeira vista. Ficamos à espera de lá ver alguma coisa, como que se faltasse algo crucial, algo "normal". E toda a música é exatamente sobre isso: perda, falta de algo. Ficamos à espera de ver algo no fundo verde, mas não passamos da expetativa. Não há lá nada... é, penso eu, uma espécie de metáfora para o próprio sentimento de perda, de vazio... Grande música!
