This might sound silly but I would have loved to habe seen you squeeze the paints out of the bottle onto the palette so I could see the consistency of the paints as it came out of the bottle But thank you for this video! I just purchased this paint set so Im excited to try them also 🤗 Your painting turned out beautiful btw!

Good video. Reason: a lot of paint reviews are too limited. Different paints will fit differently for different artists. There is more to paint than just paint swatching and coverage testing. There is drying time, and what I call tack warning ...that is, when it start to be tack up - no longer blend-able. So adding in your observations on the feel of the paint, whilst showing how you actually paint - makes for a better paint review. The claim from the manufacturer is that they use a formula that has very little color shift when dry - like Winsor Newton. Add in your observations and seeing how you paint - allows me to put this paint in a "maybe in the future" category. So - good review method 👍

thank you! I do paint with acrylics, too! I like the slow dry time for oil paint and the finished look of oil paint a bit more, but I love how quickly I can complete an acrylic painting! :)

@@ThePaintingStoof Yeah acrylics dry fast but that can be a problem. You think I didn't want to put that tree there. You take your knife and scrape off the tree. Blend in the background and repaint the area with oils. If that tree is there in acrylics then it stays there. Or you wait 5 minutes and paint over it. I did that. I put a boulder in a field with a mule deer. My friend asked my why I painted a mule deer. Because they are easy to paint. And I like all deer. She said they look dumb. I sold that painting. The lady said the deer I painted was the exact color of her new drapes and wanted it as an accent piece. It was 11x9 in. That is one tiny accent. I charged a whopping $5. It was at an art fair. I did not get my own booth but went to a central vendor area where we each had 2 square feet in which to show our art. I had my paintings there. I had 2 framed, (dumb) and 2 not. One unframed was bought. The other I gave to the lady who bought one of the framed pics. The framed ones were 24 x 20in so I asked $15. She asked if she could buy the frame without the picture. I told her the picture goes with the frame. So I ended up giving her the other unframed one which she liked and she paid for the framed one in full. People will love anything that is free.
