Laura had no direct path to victory initially. (Only $5000/Spin would have put her ahead, but then of course the spin remains.) After $1000/Spin, the Catamaran would have given it to her. After $700/Spin, so too would the Motorcycle or Curacao (the latter by just $45). (ETA: So too would New England, as I have now found out.) After the Whammy? More's the pity.
