In metaphor two words are compared which are unrelated to each other . It is used in order to bring colors in the poem for example : "LIFE IS LIKE A HIGHWAY" .....and in this poem , poet has compared two things that are "WORD" and "CHILD'S PLAY" and then it is compared with "DOVE" that creeps into her
