@@johnmalatesta751 I was using the penn fierce 6000 on a 9ft pole medium heavy and also the ugly stick 6'6 with 4000 size spinfisher reels. Thise are a really fun setup to catch whiting and pompano upclose !

@@cjoutdoors3471 up till this point I've always used 20lb berkley big game. The green one solar collector I believe and I have a few shorts on how to catch them. If you don't have a rake just look for them and dig them up with your hands or take a big scoop with a bucket

@@FoxyFandom probably would have to have a kayak to get around docks and bridge structures I mainly surf fish. I have seen a few caught on the piers just not enough for me to sit there and try.

@@FoxyFandom last time I went it was the usual suspects whiting blur fish and sharks but there is always a chance for something unusual. I have seen reports of some spanish mackerel too that's what u was going to try for thus weekend

I'm coming in September, last week, staying in north myrtle, which areas good for red drum,how about Murrells inlet area,jetty? I'd love catch some on lures
