I'm not the tutor but you can learn it now and not have to be embarrassed! I wonder if you mean that you don't understand the CONCEPT (the idea) of 'multiplying', or how to DO it (like he did it in the video)? For the CONCEPT, it helps to know that multiplying is really (honestly!) just adding! For instance, imagine multiplying 3 times two. To understand what that MEANS, hold up one hand with two groups of two fingers (in the Vulcan salute but with the thumb hidden in your palm), and also hold up two fingers together on the other hand, Now ask yourself how many TIMES you have two fingers showing, and then say, "I see three TIMES (instances, groups.etc) of 2 fingers", Or, I see 2 fingers 3 TIMES. Now COUNT (add) all the numbers of fingers you're showing. SIX. That's WHY 3 TIMES of 2 = 6. You have 3 groups of 2 things in each group, like 3 bunches of bananas, with 2 bananas in each bunch. You have 3 TIMES of 2 bananas, or two bananas three times, or 6 total. Multiplying is really just adding.
