This is chillingly beautiful. I love the fact you've shown us how you paint/detail with your less dominant hand too. I wish more of you guys did this. It lets us see ways of handling and controlling a brush using our less dominant hand. Thanks :)

Glad you enjoyed it - sometimes I'm on the fence because I don't want to make the vid too long, but especially since each nail was different I decided to include it this time

Gorgeous! You had me at the gradient part, tbh :D I hate plastic nails but the one thing that's good about them is that they give you a much bigger area to paint on :) I'm gonna give this a go on my nails.

I love it! I might actually be trying this one. I'll probably use acrylic paint tho. Just easier even tho I have polish colors that would work. Great for our weather we're having in mn lol.

*Very* pretty. How long did it take you to learn how to do stuff like that with your non-dominant hand? I'm awful with the "wrong" hand, and can't say I'm very good with the good one, either. Have you mentioned what brush you're using to do the branches? I think it would also be *very* pretty if you put a coat of something sheer but sparkly on top of the white, and then did the gray gradient and that would let some shimmer come through the branches. Great inspiration, thank you!

Verry Cool & perfect for this time of year. I did one like this on my own nails around Halloween last year in dark blue yellow & orange with the bare branches. And my non dominant hand actually turned out better~shocker!!! I am pretty sure that you said that you were from Minnesota? I saw a video on the internet of lakefront houses that were getting damaged by the ice from the lake coming right up to the houses & pushing right into them & coming up the sides of the houses & breaking the windows? Did you see that video? I am not sure if it was from this year or not.
@MSLP11 жыл бұрын
yes, I know the one you mean - it was from last winter. Thankfully that's a pretty rare occurrence!

I am going to be doing this with acrylic paint and a different base. Maybe just like a mint green. I prefer doing detailed work with acrylic paint because it doesn't become tacky and it stays wet a lot longer.

basically it's the same as with my dominant hand, it just takes some practice to get comfortable doing so. The brush is one from a set of stripers I got at sallys
