This is very cool. I think the main difference for me would be using acetone to separate the polish around the edges after dipping instead of the stick. Might get a cleaner line with less base color peaking around due to tearing. Thanks for introducing us to a new technique, and giving credit to the original person, as always.
@hatengoogle49696 жыл бұрын
Very cool! I like that you don’t waste as much polish as watermarbling. But I don’t like how the white base shows around the edges. Thanks for testing this I wouldn’t have the time or patience! 💖
@melissaa41686 жыл бұрын
Haten Google I totally agree with you but after that it bothered me how flat and wide the nails look...good effort but this was a no no for me Im afraid.
@MSLP6 жыл бұрын
I think with some practice the gaps could be eliminated - but also, some of the other designs allow more of the base to show through, so it has more of a petal look

I tried forever this weekend. So then this technique might be great.

That is GORGEOUS!!! Sexy as all get out! I'd love to try it out! I think I might put little metal or acrylic bows on the design where the pinch is, though. I can see how easily it could look like a watercolor flower if it were done in bright pastel colors. Neon colors over black might look really cool, too! Oh, this new technique is exciting!
@heatherwelberry14 жыл бұрын
At 6:25 I was yelling at the phone..."clean off the stick before you try to pinch it !!" Otherwise it will stick to the polish you left on the wooden stick from there previous attempt !! That's why you had to throw several of those away when they stuck to the dirty stick. These look really nice and are so unique !! Great job !

I did this last night on me and my granddaughter. For me I did a drop of pink and pinched. Beside it a drop of blue and pinched. I then laid the blue on the pink using orange sticks in the water. When you dip where the colors overlaid it made purple. For my granddaughter just did the black. She was unsure how to dip her finger so got interesting results. One nail has a solid black band on the bottom of her nail and the pinched section looks like a tree. Fun technique. I’ve been unlucky with water marbling the usual way.

the pink & blue combo sounds really beautiful! and I think it's so sweet you do nails with your granddaughter
