Probably one of the best dance showcases of Indian Raga. It is extremely refreshing to watch a non-typical Bharatanatyam item that is packed with fluidity and robustness (similar to Kuchipudi), yet looking very much authentic. I could see traces of Odissi too. And the so powerful Vocals! Wow! Keep such items coming. Any specific reason for wearing the Kuchipudi costume? Just curious.

I think thats the traditional one....I think parswanath upadhye is also following this same bani......any way loved this one...❤️❤️

Tamil Nadu is so blessed to give birth to Bharatanatyam. Mysore kingdom developed a different style of Bharatanatyam which is as tough as Tanjore (original) style of Bharatanatyam. Loved it 😍😍😘😘

Knowledge of our own language is the path of progress, to understand all languages, we must have knowledge of our national language. Without the knowledge of the original (our national language) language, the development of our personality, the progress of our country is not possible. It is the job of carrying the knowledge of foreign language like a donkey, ignorant of your language culture. Which is very surprising, painful, it is worth considering that the country will develop itself with its national language Hindi! 🚩🇮🇳🙏 *Great scholar of Hindi literature - Bharatendu Harishchandra,* *14/09/2020 Happy National Day Hindi Language*

No single region gave birth to any art. All kinds of arts flourished everywhere throughout India taking on local flavours borrowing from each other and evolving unique styles over time. Devadasis of different regions developed unique styles based on their interpretations of the Natya Shastras. Bharata muni is the only one who can take credit not some state born post-independence. If arts were born in different regions, then why would Bharatnatyam make use of Carnatic music which was born in Karnataka (although it's wrong to say it was "born" in Karnataka)? Art is not a defined set which can be divided between regions. Don't make such shallow statements.

Woow...love the jathi..,very catchy..the costume,coordination of dancers,footwork n expression was great!! Everyone's stamina..especially the Male artist's was still good...loved all d formations at 1:40,2:16 n 4:15 mins...nicely depicted the actual ganesha blessing through the whole dance...wonderful choreography...Didnt seem like 4:30 mins long...wanted more of it..🙂😬👍🙏..And thanks for d briefing,summary abt the song,origination etc. Sanjana Rajesh...though I also learnt bharatanatyam for many years(with breaks)...,I couldnt reach a professional stage n such detailing r interesting n nice to know...Shows Indian Raaga does not take any random person n offer fellowship..help in video making...see the authenticity..only ppl who r passionate n have expertise,knowledge in d field r here...Hope I also b a part some day...trying..Thanks again...👏👏👍👍🙏🙏❤
