Quality is not the same as it was till 1980s. After 1975 quality of the Mysore silk sarees has been diminishing considerably. My grandmother's old saree and my new saree when kept side by side will tell the difference. Today's sarees are only an apology when compared to those sarees. Can someone explain the reason for this change.
