Mysore Dasara 2021:
Ambari Elephant Abhimanyu Thalim Training begins today! Every day in the morning DCF DR.V.KARIKALAN checks on the health of the elephants interacts with the care takers and asses the daily rations. Ambari elephant Ambhimanyu Pooja performed on the Jumboo Savari elephants before the start of first Training Thalim. On the day of event Abhimanyu will carry 750 kilograms weight Golden Howdah. Hence training begins on the first day the target weight is 300 kilograms. Multilayer cushioning is provided on the back of Ambari Elephant Abhimanyu before fastening the Iron cradle. Many units of sand bags are load into the cage to add up the eight to 300 kilograms. After the Pooja fastening of iron cage loading of sand bags, the first Jumboo Savari Thalim begins at Mysore Palace! These elephants were once Wild Tuskers!
